Shopping is fun, but bargain shopping better…it’s thrilling and exhilarating! Calling all my shopping buddies…where have you been lately? Share the wealth and chime in about those sales, consignment shops, bargain outlets…sample sales in Sacramento…who knows? (PS From Bill…Don’t look at me…this is Karyn’s category)

The word is out amongst high schoolers, that you can get some great clothes at a place called Crossroads. My daughter heard from her friend, who heard from her friend…and on and on…that you can find Abercrombie, Ed Hardy, Calvin Klein, Hollister, etc labels for a tiny fraction of what you would pay for these labels anywhere else. Yes…these are previously worn items…BUT, the store is very picky about what they accept and put on their racks. This is not Goodwill…Crossroads has some nice stuff!
Another plus…you can get credit for the things you’ve had hanging in your closet that you know you won’t wear anymore, to put toward something you will wear! Beware though…I’ve brought in bags of stuff I though were really nice, and they’ve only accepted a couple of items. There’s a plus and a minus to this…Plus: they have good stuff. Minus: you don’t always get credit.
It’s certainly worth taking a look for bargains at Crossroads…especially in this economy where going out shopping isn’t as ‘easy’ as it used to be…Crossroads makes it ‘okay’ to shop to get a little bit of a shopping ‘fix’…without the guilt of cleaning out your wallet!
